mike is an old fellow; no humor intended, you can really hear his age in his voice. he sounds like he’s just a bit confused, and a couple of seconds behind the conversation. you’re right, though, it’s pretty astounding, especially considering that there was a run of weeks there when every other day amadenijad would issue a statement saying “the jews must be pushed into the sea”, followed by a statement from someone else in government saying, “well, what he meant when he said that was blah blah blah.” clearly not a friend of the jews; the “he just dislikes the zionist entity” explanation is an eye-roller.
