Lesson being learned in Iraq?

BlackFive thinks so. And it’s a good one.

The Washington-initiated “surge” will speed-up the ongoing process of defeating the insurgency. But one should not consider the surge responsible for the turnaround. The lesson to be learned is to keep killing the killers until they realize their fate.

That should rate a “duh” but, in a world of John Kerrys and San Fran Nans, even the obvious needs restating.

There had to have been a lot of clenched teeth at NPR during Batman creator Frank Miller’s interview. The interviewer certainly struggled to conceal his incredulity. Now I’m definitely going to go see 300.
