Sometimes Profanity Is Just Fine

The profanity in this column will be forgiven by me and, I suspect, by you because of who wrote it. See if you can guess who before following the link:

I began reading not only the economics of Thomas Sowell (our greatest contemporary philosopher) but Milton Friedman, Paul Johnson, and Shelby Steele, and a host of conservative writers, and found that I agreed with them: a free-market understanding of the world meshes more perfectly with my experience than that idealistic vision I called liberalism.

When I read about the violent, misogynistic depravity of Arab/Muslim culture such as the barbarous practice of “honor killings”, I really want to let loose.  Out of deference to the delicate readers of my blog I’ll hit a middle ground and just call them a bunch of sick f***tards.

Frankly, every time I go through what is called “Airport Security” anymore I wonder if the terrorists haven’t already won. They not only murdered three thousand in New York, but now we have a giant government bureaucracy run by idiots and entirely staffed by unionized idiots putting us through a song and dance which doesn’t make us one whit safer than we were on September 10th.

Well, at least I can fly safe in the knowledge that bloggers won’t be bringing down the airplane with their elegant laptops.
