Reading Minds

I knew, vaguely, that fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) was going to reveal tremendous amounts of information about brain function in the very near future.

It seems the future is closer than my puny imagination thought. Soon scientists may be able to reconstruct dreams.

If we can keep our civilization from imploding or being overrun by 7th-century barbarians, some absolutely amazing stuff is in store, even in what’s left of my lifetime. What an exciting time to be alive!
