Could Chavez have, pardon the expression, FARCed himself?

As for Chávez, his saber-rattling is choking vital two-way trade with Colombia, despite the fact that the Venezuelan people have been rioting for months over the scarcity of basic staples. Indeed, Lieutenant Colonel Chávez may be the only military leader in history to attack his own supply lines. His pointless deployment of thousands of troops along Venezuela’s remote western border must be draining vast resources from a disastrously managed national budget.

Child Abuse

Filling little kids’ heads with leftist worries about adult things is just sick. I can tell I’m going to be fighting it every day my daughter is in school. As far as I’m concerned, every parent of a child appearing in this video should be arrested for child abuse.

Or, better yet, forced to move some place where they have similarly enlightened views on how to raise kids.

I repeat: Obama’s toast. He may yet get the Democratic nomination, but tens of millions of Americans who are neither (a) black nor (b) guilty white liberals are simply appalled that Obama would revere a guy like Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, whatever the particularities of which services he did and didn’t attend. It defies belief that Obama knew this man for all that time, intimately enough to have him supervise at the Obama wedding and the children’s baptisms, yet did not know that Wright is a white-hating, America-hating crank. Who on earth believes this?
