The Patriot Post has a declaration for you to sign.
I can see nothing objectionable in it, and much good. They were even careful to use the secular compromise language of the constitution (ie: “Creator” and “Nature’s God”) so that we agnostic and/or atheist types can be on board.
Sign, and spread the word.
Creator and Natures God?
I’d prefer Santa and The Tooth Fairy.
Count me out.

That language allows the believers to be happy but also the rest of us. They both can refer just as well to the natural forces of nature. So “endowed by his Creator” means “endowed by nature” just as well.
In other words, you’re allowed to define them as you like. No need to invoke Santa.

Nope. Patriotism has nothing to do with creation myths.

Agreed. Perhaps I’m not explaining myself well. “Nature’s God”, as I understand it, can be a stand in for a myth-free world view. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, whatever you think Nature means.
It’s no reason not to sign an otherwise excellent declaration, because it doesn’t endorse any religion or mythology at all.
